REGIONAL TREATMENT CENTRE
KINGSTON, ONTARIO, CANADA
The Regional Treatment Centre is a jail in downtown Kingston, Ontario.
The Ontario Regional Treatment Centre (RTC) ceased functioning as a federal correctional facility on September 30, 2013.
The Regional Treatment Centre (RTC) was a multilevel security accredited psychiatric institution situated on the property of Kingston Penitentiary.
Inmates were housed in two direct observation living units. The first unit accommodated inmates with acute and sub-acute mental illnesses, inmates requiring long-term care and sex offenders. The second accommodated inmates with psychosocial problems.
The RTC provided a broad range of quality, cost-effective clinical, correctional and related services to meet the needs of federal offenders.
Call2Talk is the most efficient and cheapest method to receive calls from Provincial prisons such as Regional Treatment Centre. Whenever a Regional Treatment Centre inmate calls a local number, they are charged $0.075 per minute from their collect Calling Call2Talk account. The same inmate call that would have cost upwards of $5.00 now just costs you $1.13 for 15 minutes.
We will provide you with a local telephone number for collect calls, near the Regional Treatment Centre, for your inmate to call as if it were your original home, work or mobile number.
