How do I sign Up with Canada Relink Call2Talk?

Simply check the package you wish to have and fill out our online form or text us at 519-250-4055 7 days a week from 9am-8pm including all holidays. Our agents are online to help you. You can also contact us toll free at 1-888-227-5941 Monday – Friday from 9:30am – 5 pm by phone.

When does my service begin?

Once you’ve completed our signup form and your payment is made the service begins immediately.

Some institutions may have to approve the number before he/she is eligible to contact you with the Canada Relink Call2Talk number. Be assured we are fully compliant with all rules and regulations of all facilities worldwide. The numbers we issue are not virtual or ghost numbers. We provide all our customers with genuine collect call numbers that are fully compliant.

How Do I get confirmation of activation?

Once the line is activated you will receive a text and email with the collect call number along with all the login credentials. If you do not see it in the email box, please check your junk or spam folders. If the Call2talk Number and/or Password is not their text us at 519-250-4055 and we will resend it to you.

What Payment Methods do you accept?

We accept all methods of payments (E transfers from all Banks across Canada, Direct Deposit into TD Branch and BMO, Western Union, All Major Credit cards and Pre-Paid Cards, Online Bill Payments through all major banks across Canada. (Please remember if you choose the online bill payment method allow the bank 72 hours for payments to arrive. All other payment methods are applied within minutes.

What is required if I use a credit card?
  • ONE PICTURE OF PHOTO ID (PASSPORT, HEALTH CARD, DRIVERS LICENCE)
  • FRONT PICTURE OF CREDIT CARD
  • BACK PICTURE OF CREDIT CARD
  • HANDWRITTEN NOTE DATED FOR TODAY’S DATE!

THE WRITTEN NOTE HAS TO BE THE EXACT DOLLAR AMOUNT THAT YOU WANT US TO CHARGE IT. IF YOU DO NOT KNOW THE GRAND TOTAL INCLUDING TAXES THEN PLEASE ONLY PUT THE DOLLAR AMOUNT AND, IN THE NOTE, WRITE DOWN “PLUS TAXES AND CREDIT CARD FEE”

The CREDIT CARD EVEN IF PREPAID HAS TO BE SIGNED, AS WELL AS THE NOTE. THAT WAY ALL 3 PEICES OF INFORMATION HAVE THE SAME SIGNATURE IN ORDER TO PROCEED WITH YOUR PAYMENT. THANK YOU

How do I cancel my services?

Simply Text us at 519-250-4055 and provide us with the full name on the account along with the username and password. Note why and when you would like the services to be canceled and the account will be deactivated. If you want to reactivate be assured, we have no activation fees.

What is the activation fee?

Because Canada Relink Call2Talk is a genuine collect call provider since 1997 we do not charge for activations or deactivations on all our collect call services.

How do I sign up for ankle bracelet monitoring?

Because Canada Relink Call2talk is a genuine collect call and phone provider Canada wide since 1997 we offer approved lines for all ankle monitoring services. Our lines are compatible with what the courts require. A connection fee and monthly fee is required before the services are activated. Allow 5-7 business days for the services to be activate. A fixed residential address that matches the court documents is required for this service.

Can I cancel anytime?

With Canada Relink Call2talk you can cancel anytime with no obligations. Text all cancelations to 519-250-4055

Does my line have 911?

All collect call lines do not offer or have 911 calls activated. Be assured our ankle bracelet lines are set up with 911

My collect call line is not working.

A Canada Relink Call2Talk collect call number may not work for several reasons:

Check to insure you have enough funds in the account for calls by logging in with the user name and password provided by clicking on this link https://ccserver1.call2talk.ca:8443/DIDTiles/customer/customerLogin

Make sure the caller is dialing 0 before the number if you are on the collect call plan. If they are on the calling card plan make sure the inmate has funds on the canteen card and the correct collect call number assigned was added or approved to the calling list as a approved number to dial.

Why do I get dropped calls?

Dropped calls are not common but do happen at times. This could be for many reasons such as low signal, using speaker phones, picking up a 2nd call on the calling waiting, using a low signal cell provider. If the problem persists, contact support days a week by text at 519-250-4055. NOTE: Canada Relink Call2Talk is not responsible for any money lost on dropped calls, we will assist you as best as possible. If we must change the collect call number be assured no charges will apply to the changes.

What if the inmate moves jails?

If your loved one moves to another institution, please notify us by text 7 days a week from 9am -8pm including all holidays. If it is an emergency move after 8pm please text us with the heading EMERGENCY and we will respond to all emergency text only. We do not have to cancel the account. We will assign a new number within minutes of being notified. Please note if an inmate calls the assigned collect call number from another facility that is not local to the assigned number the call will be billed at regular charges of $30.00 plus taxes. If you need payment arrangements on any long-distance charges, please ask and we will customize a payment plan for you while you still use the services. We are her to help.

I forgot to pay my bill on the 1st of the month, Will I lose my number?

With Canada Relink Call2talk be assured you will never lose the assigned collect call number within the 1st 15 days. Lines will be blocked from accepting collect calls if the payment is not made. Be assured we have no reconnection fees for reconnecting anytime. If you reconnect after the number has been removed, we will try our best to assign the same number back at no charge. If we must assign a new number be assured no charge as well.

My account was deactivated what do I do?

No worries its simple. You can text us 7 days a week from 9am-8pm and ask us to reactivate the services. We will gladly reactivate the services instantly within minutes with no connection charges. You can also email us at call2talk@live.ca requesting the reconnection. Our phone lines are open as well Monday- Friday from 9:30am – 5pm.

How do I get calls from jail on my cell line?

Simple and fast. With Canada Relink Call2talk be assure we do not use forwarding lines, Virtual lines and or ghost lines. We are a genuine collect call provider which allows us to connect our collect calls through any active phone line through the circuit assigned to the user rather than forwarding the collect call line like other providers. You will not get billed by your service provider and this will not interfere with your normal number assigned by your provider. Other companies forward ghost lines or virtual numbers you the line you are using which is like a 3-way call and not permitted through correctional services Canada. What plan is best for me?

With Canada Relink Call2talk we have a plan to fit everyone’s budget. If you receive 1 call or more every day for a full month the best plan is Plan A monthly + $1.50 per call. If you receive less then 23 calls per month the Plan B per minute would be the cheapest. If you get calls from a federal facility that has the canteen calling card option, the best plan would be the $20.00 unlimited plan.

Can the inmate connect to more than one number?

Unlike other companies who charge you for a premium rate, We at Canada Relink Call2talk offers these features free of charge. If the inmate needs to speak with a lawyer, doctor or any loved one be assured we are here for you 7 days a week. Just text us and we will connect the circuit to whatever number you wish to have connected to. We do not charge for this service and you can change it as many times as you wish in seconds after texting us.

Is there an activation fee?

Because Canada Relink Call2talk is a direct provider and not a reseller we do not charge a connection fee on any of our collect call services. Other companies charge a connection fee because they are classified as resellers that purchase from one provider and sell the services at a higher rate for a profit. Other providers also charge a connection fee because they are selling consumers virtual or ghost lines. Be assured with Canada Relink Call2talk we only provide genuine collect call lines direct from us to the customer and not through a 3rd party.

Can I pay with a Pre-Paid Credit card?

With Canada Relink Call2talk we take all pre-paid credit cards. Because we are direct provider and not a reseller, we accept all pre-paid credit cards. Please refer to our credit card policy for using any prepaid card.

Do you offer Minute packages or bundles?

Canada Relink Call2talk does not put limits or use upsell tactics. Other companies sell you limited minute packages that may cut the customer off in the middle of a call or limit the talk time. With our plans, we offer unlimited talk time for one low price and no upselling. We believe you should not have to put a limit on your calls or get disconnected in the middle of a call after hours with no minutes left to talk. Because Canada Relink Call2talk is a direct provider and not a reseller we offer only unlimited for one low price.

Do I get charged for Voicemail calls?

Be assured any calls connected to voicemail under 59 seconds will not be charged or deducted from the account. All robo calls, marketing calls under the 59 seconds will not be deducted from the account. If you answer a full call over the 59 seconds this will be deducted from the account. Our system can detect all voice mail, robo calls and marketing calls in advance. We can’t stop those calls from coming in. Although all our numbers are reregistered with CRTC under the no soliciting calls you a still get one.

Do I have to change providers?

No. You can keep your existing provider. This is an add-on service. If you choose to change providers, we can provide you with a land line as long it is in conjunction with our collect call services.
